Abstract

Most maternal maternity can be prevented according to the needs of medical interventions. This means that the ability to provide health services still requires comprehensive and more quality improvement. A service is said to be quality if it gives satisfaction to maternal. However, if pregnant women are not satisfied with the services provided, it will affect the frequency of visiting maternal pragnant to health workers. This study aims to determine the relationship of patient satisfaction with antenatal care services (ANC) at the Inagurki Clinic in Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict, Medan in 2018.
This research was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted at Inagurki Clinic, Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict, Medan City from July to September 2018. The population in this study were all maternal pregnancy who conducted Antenatal Care service at Inagurki Clinic as many as 45 people and the sample in this study was taken by using the total population. Data were obtained used a questionnaire, data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analyzes. Bivariate analysis used Chi Square statistical test at α = 5%.
The results showed that patient satisfaction was mostly in the dissatisfied category with 27 respondents (60.0%), and satisfied categories were 18 respondents (40.0%), Antenatal Care services were mostly in the unfavorable category with 24 respondents (53.3%), and good categories amounted to 21 respondents (46.7%) and the results of chi square test, obtained p value = .000 <α .05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.
The conclusion of this study is the Relationship of Patient Satisfaction with Antenatal Care Services (ANC). It is recommended for pregnant women to be able to prefer a better Antenatal Care service and still have their pregnancy checked.
