Abstract
Computer users today have been so widely, both in the field of real office space as well as part of one’s personal life. Therefore, almost all the administration officials use computers on the job, because the computer is considered able to simplify and speed up the work. In addition to providing a positive impact, it turns out that computer use also pose a negative impact to its users if it exceeds 4 hours/day then it would experience the vision eye complaints. Such as blurred vision, as well the difficulty of focus that led to inconvenience in work. Therefore, this research aims to know the relationship of the lenght of working hours and working time with complaints on worker’s vision computer users in indonesia I Harbor PT. (Persero) branch of Belawan.
The research was carried out using the method of explanatory research with test Multiple Binary Regression at p< 0,05. Data obtained with questionnaire on diffuse 65 workers at PT. Indonesia Port I (Persero) branch of Belawan as primary data and secondary data as company documents.
The research results obtained that the majority of the length of working hours are on a category at risk as much as 42 people (64,6%), the work is at a category at risk by as much as 41 people (63,1%).
Based on the research results then the drawn conclusions that the variables are independent have significant value < 0,05 is the significant value of 0.003 work i.e. the most dominant influence on worker’s vision complaints computer users with a value of EXP(B) 6,003 times more likely to be the cause of workers computer users experience a complaints vision.
