Abstract
A class of pregnant women is a means of studying with pregnant women in order to gain sufficient knowledge to prevent complications, increase the scope of visits of pregnant women, and labor on health workers. The meeting of a class of pregnant women carried out 4 times during pregnancy. The goal of research to find out what-what are the factors related to participation of the class of pregnant women in the village Market Batahan Year 2018.
The research design used was a survey with analytic approach of cross sectional. The population in this research is the entire trimester pregnant III as much as 31 people. The framework of the concept of form variables. The independent variable is the knowledge the III trimester of pregnant women, age, occupation, Parity. The dependent variable was the exercise of class participation, pregnant women, and the techniques of data collection with the primary and secondary data and data analysis done by univariate analysis bivariat analysis.
From the results of research on 31 (100%) are knowledgeable good as much as 9 (29.0%) quite as much as 10 (32.3%), lack of as many as 12 (38.7%), age of pregnant women from 31 (100%). Who is at risk as much as 18 (58.1%) and not at risk by as much as 13 (14.9%), employment of pregnant women from 31 (100%) who worked 20 (64.5%) and not work 11 (35.5%), parity of pregnant women from 31 (100%) the Primi thirteen (45.2%) and Multigravide as much as 17 (54.8%). A connection obtained knowledge and age, and there is no relationship of work and class participation parity with pregnant women.
The conclusions of this study factors related to participation of the implementation class of pregnant women is knowledge and age. Expected for expectant mothers attend expectant mothers regularly in order to be able to recognize early danger during pregnancy so if there is something to be a complaint in order to overcome or consulted with health workers so that the mother avoid things that endanger the health of mothers and babies
