Abstract

The anticeptive ingredients used in the gel preparation are usually from the sample hydroxide. The purpose of this research is to find out that the thickness of the water bath (Syzygiumaqueum (Burm. F.) Alston) can be formulated in antiseptic gel supplies and to know the availability of extracethanol to meet test parameters with positive control.
The study used laboratory experiment methods by conducting extraction of rose apples maceration signs as far as the radiation was continued on the formulations of gel concentrations of 0%, 20% and 25%. Evaluation of the gel includes jiorganoleptic, homogeneity, width, pH, iris and surface.
This research showed all the gel in this study are homogens. The color of the extract ethanol gel consist of bright brown and dark brown, the aroma is spesific extract and semi-solid form. The pH and the gel package ethanol away from a positive control means that, it still fills good seals. The skin of iritatioon skill showed that all the forms are negative. The gels’ colors and the smell have the concentrate 20% more prefer by the vanelis, but for the form of the gel that is prefer by vanelis is concentrate 25%.
The results of this study obtained that gel packaging can be formulated as a hand sanitizer gel preparation. Estimation of hemomogenicity, width, pH and pH with comparative positive control, preparations filled as hand sanitizer gel. It is recommended that further studies be carried out to remove chlorophyl of larisimplicia, so as to produce a better hand sanitizer gel.
