Abstract
Antenatal Care Visit (ANC) is needed by pregnant women for the role of two growth and development and maternal growth and development during pregnancy. To deal with the occurrence of danger or complications during pregnancy. In Southeast Aceh in 2017 K4 visits 52.4% were still below the target of 95%.
The design of this study uses a cross sectional approach. The population is all pregnant women in the third trimester who visit K4 at the Lawe Perbunga health center. Sampling using a total sampling technique as many as 30 pregnant women. Data retrieval using questionnaire method.
Data were analyzed using chi square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that most of the respondents were 18 (60.0%) people who did KIE counseling and 16 (53.3%) were not satisfied with KIE counseling. Satistik test results obtained p = 00 α 0,05, then Ho refused means that there is a relationship between the application of counseling and patient satisfaction ANC visits.
It was concluded in this study that there was a relationship between the implementation of IEC counseling and patient satisfaction in ANC visits in third trimester pregnant women. So that health workers are expected to be able to improve counseling and counseling to the public about the importance of conducting ANC visits in third trimester pregnant women.
