Abstract

Health is a public service that is absolute and closely related to the welfare of society. For all services that are absolute, the state and its apparatus are obliged to provide quality services that are easily available at all times. Patient satisfaction is the level of feeling that patients feel and arise as a result of the quality of health services provided by officers and obtained by patients then the patient can compare with what he expected.
The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affecting patient satisfaction in internal disease inpatient room of Simeulue General Hospital. The type of this research is an analytical survey research with a cross sectional approach, which was done at Simeulue General Hospital in January to August 2018. The populations in this study were patients who visited the internal disease inpatient room, with a sample of 128 people. The data collection techniques using primary, secondary and tertiary data then the data was analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate data analysis.
The results showed there was a relationship of physical evidence with p value 0,000, reliability with p value = 0,000, responsiveness with p value = 0,000, guarantee with p value = 0.003 and empathy with p value = 0,000 to patient satisfaction in internal disease inpatient room of Simeulue General Hospital and factors that are more dominant in affecting the satisfaction were physical evidence with a p value of 0,000.
The conclusion of this study shows that the services provided by health workers are still not good and cannot make patients feel satisfied. It is expected to the health workers of Simeulue General Hospital to improve quality of health services so that patients feel satisfy.
