Abstract

Colour is one of the major factors for methylosmetics. The use of synthesizing staining in blushes can cause irritation to face skin, irritation of the respiratory tract, and damage to containers. The purpose of this research is to make the blush on of the utilizing natural dyes in the extract of red beetroot (Beta vulgaris L) and yeast rice.
The extract was obtained by transmitting alcohol with 96% ethanol for the red beet (Beta vulgaris L) and 70% alcohol for yeast rice. The blush on formula was made by using red colouring from a combination of red beet(Beta vulgaris L) and yeast rice extract with a concentration of 15; 20; a combination of 20 and 15%.
Research results with a concentration of extract 15; 20 and a combination of 20 and 15% produced homogeneous flakes, good colour, aroma and polish. The pH of the range ranged from 5.3 to 6.4, inaccurately when falling at an altitude of 8-10 inches, not being irritated and preferred is available with a combination of 15 and 20%.
The conclusions from this research showed that the combination of red beet (Beta vulgaris L) and yeast rice extract can be used as a dye in the preparation of blush on. The higher the concentration of the extract used, then the darkening of the pigment in the preparation.
