Abstract
Anemia is a condition that arises when the number of red blood cells in the body is below normal, or when red blood cells do not have enough hemoglobin. anemia in pregnant women, there are three categories, namely: normal> 11 g / dl, mild 8-11 g / dl, weight <8 g / dl. The problem of anemia is very important because it contributes to the high maternal and infant mortality rates. The purpose of this study was to determine the compliance of consumption of fe tablets with anemia in pregnant women in third trimester at Rosdiana BPM in 2018.
This study uses an analytical survey research design with a Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women in the period of August-September 2018 at BPM Rosdiana, Jeunib Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency, as many as 40 pregnant women in the third trimester. The samples used by researchers in this study used a total population of 40 pregnant women in the third trimester. Using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis.
From the Chi-Square test in the table attachment between the relationship of compliance with consumption of fe tablets with anemia in pregnant women in Trimester III at Rosdiana BPM in 2018 with sig-p = 0,000 or <sig-α = 0.05. There is a Relationship between the Compliance of Consumption of Fe Tablets and Anemia in Pregnant Women in Third Trimester at BPM Rosdiana, Jeunib Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency, 2018.
Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that adherence to consumption of Fe tablets in the majority of pregnant women in the non-compliant category and the majority of pregnant women experience mild anemia. So it is recommended for researchers to improve the quality of health services for pregnant women and can provide information about the benefits and side effects of consuming Fe tablets during pregnancy visits.
