Abstract
The quality of nursing services is closely related to the performance of nurses, so that service quality can be seen through evaluating the performance of nurses. The performance of nurses in nursing services at Simeulue East Health Center, Simeulue District, Aceh Province is still not good. The performance of nurses in nursing services at Simeulue Timur Health Center, Simeulue District, Aceh Province is related to nurses' knowledge, skills, abilities and motivation of nurses in nursing services. This study aims to determine the performance of nurses in nursing services at Simeulue Timur Public Health Center, Simeulue District, Aceh Province in 2018.
The type of research used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The informant informant (key informant) in this study were nurses in East Simeulue Health Center as many as 3 people, while the main informant was the Head of East Simeulue Health Center as many as 1 person and the resource supporter was 2 patients. Data processing techniques are carried out by organizing data, classifications and data categories and testing assumptions.
The results showed that the knowledge of nurses in nursing services was good, the skills of nurses in nursing services were good, the willingness of nurses in nursing services was still poor and the motivation of nurses in nursing services tended to be bad.
The conclusion in this study is the performance of nurses in nursing services that are good is the knowledge of nurses, nurses' skills and lack of good that is the willingness and motivation of nurses. It was suggested for the Simeulue District Health Office as input for the performance of East Simeulue Health Center to monitor and motivate East Simeulue Health Center, for the Head of East Simeulue Health Center to maintain the quality of nursing services and improve nursing services and nurses at the East Simeulue Health Center to perform nursing actions according to standards operational.
