Abstract
This research was conducted in Datu Beru General Hospital on May 2018 - August 2018 aimed to find out the number of Glibenclamide and Metformin drugs used in hospitalized diabetes patients in Datu Beru Hospital in 2018.
This research is a retrospective study that tries to look back (looking backward). The object of this study was taken based on diabetes drug prescription used at the Pharmacy Installation of Datu Beru Hospital.
The results showed that the use of Glibenclamide drug for 6 months from March 2018 - August 2018 was 135 tablets compared to Metformin as many as 984tablets.
Based on this results the study it can be seen that the most widely used drug Glibenclamide and Metformin is Metformin compared to Glibenclamide. It is expected that the next researcher will conduct a survey on the use of other Diabetes drugs
