Abstract
Backgroung: Drug storage is an important factor in drug management in hospitals because with good and correct storage it will be easy to take more effective drugs. The purpose of drug storage is that the drugs available in the quality health service unit can be maintained. Objective: This study aims to analyze the drug storage system in Gudang Obat Umum Madani Hospital in 2018. Methods: The study used a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The informants in this study were six people, namely the head of the pharmacy installation as much as one person, the warehouse installation pharmacy officer as many as two people, the pharmacist as many as two people and the Head of Support Services for one person. Data analysis is done qualitatively based on the information and reasons stated by the informant. Results: the results of this study indicate that staff are still lacking in the Gudang Farmasi Madani General Hospital. Work procedures are not clear on the job descriptions of each staff member. Infrastructure means there is no warehouse staff room. Facilities and infrastructure have problems such as the absence of a computer, prohibited signs of entering at the entrance, addition of chairs, tables, shelves, pallets, fire extinguishers in the drug storage room. Conclusion: It is known that the results of this study are that the staff is still lacking in Gudang Farmasi Madani General Hospital and Infrastructure Facilities in the absence of warehouse staff. Facilities and infrastructure have problems such as the absence of a computer, prohibited signs of entering at the entrance, addition of chairs, tables, shelves, pallets, fire extinguishers in the drug storage room.
