Abstract
Every woman who has a healthy reproductive organ, if she has menstruated and has sexual intercourse with a man whose reproductive organs are healthy, there is a high probability of pregnancy. If pregnancy is planned. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship of husband's support with hyperemesis gravidarum in YusniarPangkalan Brandan Clinic in 2018.
This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach using a questionnaire. The population used in this study is all pregnant women in the first trimester as many as 30 respondents and the sampling is non-probability sampling with total sampling technique with the total population being sampled as many as 30 respondents.
The results showed that pregnant women who experienced first trimester gravidaru hyperemesis who did not support 19 people (63.3%) and mothers with hyperemesis gravidarum occurred as many as 17 people (56.7%). The results of data analysis for husband's support with chi-square test obtained husband's support to have a relationship with the occurrence of hyperemesis gravidarum with p value = 0.002 (p = <0.05).
Based on these results it can be concluded that there is a relationship between husband's support with hyperemesis gravidarum. Therefore health workers especially midwives should provide counseling about husband's support with hyperemesis gravidarum so that pregnant women can maintain their pregnancy and the husband can understand the importance of support so that pregnant women do not feel alone and feel happy with their pregnancy.
