Abstract

Medical resume documents that are not returned on time might constitute
a nuisance for data processing employees. Incomplete medical records cause
delays in the submission of insurance claims as well as delays in the orderly
administration process. According to the findings, four out of ten medical resume
files were incomplete, including incomplete patient identity, patient name, forgot
to write the date, no signature of the treating doctor, incomplete laboratory
results, and incomplete Anatomical Pathology (PA) results. CT Scan findings that
are partial or unfinished.
The goal of this study was to identify the elements that impact medical
resume completion delays for BPJS Kesehatan claims at RSUD Dr. RM.
Djoelham City of Binjai. This is a quantitative study with an analytic survey
design and a cross-sectional methodology. This study's population included all 34
medical record officers, with a sample of 34 patients drawn using the complete
sampling approach. The chi-square test statistic was employed in univariate and
bivariate data analysis.
The results showed that individual factors had a value of p = 0.006 <α =
0.05, psychological factors had a value of p = 0.000 <α = 0.05 and
organizational factors had a value of p = 0.041 <α = 0.05. This means that
individual, psychological and organizational factors have an influence on BPJS
claims.
The study's conclusion showed that individual, psychological, and
organizational variables influenced on BPJS claims. It was recommended that the
hospital improve the actions of medical record officers in completing medical
resumes in accordance with SOP, such as routine monitoring and evaluation, so
that officers complete medical resumes on time and the BPJS claim process runs
smoothly.
