Abstract

Nurses are one of the factors of improving quality in hospitals and are the profession that interacts the most with patients in explaining and supporting patient problems, explaining nursing diagnoses, explaining the interventions to be made and providing protection to patient rights. This is certainly many indicators in improving the quality of service through the performance of nurses. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the performance of rspatientnursersudr.G.LTobing in TanjungMorawa in 2021.
The researchdesign used is Cross Sectional with a type of quantitative research approach Explanotory Research. The sample of this study was an inpatient nurse of 74 people using the total Random Sampling technique. Data analysis is used as univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with logistic regression tests. Based on the results oflogistics tests, the value of cross tabulation results between ability and nurse performance is good as many as 27 people and unkind ability 47 people and the value of P = 0.001, cross tabulation value between compensation with nurse performance, compensation according to 24 people and compensation not according to 50 people P = 0.001 as per the value of tabulation of the work environment with the performance of the nurse, goodenvironment = 47 people and not good 27 people with a value of P = 0.001. Based on multivariate results all independent variables significantly affect the nurse's performance variables. logistic regression results value the probability of nurse performance from the dimension of ability, employment and compensation then the opportunity for good nurse performance is 84.60%.
There is an influenceon ability, workenvironment and compensation on the performance of inpatient nurses at General Hospital dr. G. L Tobing. It is expected that the management can maintain the performance of nurses with related training and for nurses it is expected to take the initiative in improving competence in a way that Looking for sources of information related to the world of nursing.
