Abstract
Participants of BPJS Mandiri who delinquent or irregularly pay monthly dues in North Rantau District as many as 1517 people (51.9%) of the total 2,919 participants. Many factors are suspected to cause irregularities to pay contributions BPJS Mandiri participants such as work, knowledge, income, expenditure per month, place of payment, distance, travel time, perception and motivation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the irregularity of paying contributions BPJS Mandiri participants in the District North Rantau Labuhanbatu District.
This type of research is qualitative with narrative approach. The research was conducted in North Rantau District of Labuhanbatu Regency. The population in this study as many as 354 people and samples obtained 86 people. Data analysis was done qualitatively with on going analysis technique.
The results showed that BPJS Mandiri participants' irregularities in paying BPJS Mandiri dues in the North Rantau Sub-district of Labuhanbatu were caused by small income factors, large monthly average expenditures, perceptions of poorly rated healthcare sites, and their motivation to pay BPJS Mandiri contribution is low.
It is suggested to the participant of BPJS Mandiri to pay all payment arrears of BPJS Mandiri contribution so that if experiencing health problem can be covered by using BPJS Mandiri card.
