Abstract
Today the role of human beings as one of the motor is getting an advantage, because the life style in every sphere of human life can not be separated from human performance itself, as well as with people who work dilingkup hospital. Performance nurse will determine the success of a hospital in carrying out the functions and tasks assigned. Knowing the performance of nurses in their profession as nursing health professionals who work with the profession to undergo appropriate standards of nursing practice.
This study design using analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population in this study are all nurses in hospitals Binjai Artha Medica 2016 which amounted to 44 people. who served super vip, vip, room 1, room 2, room 3 with a sample that is numbered 44 nurses hospital Artha Medica Binjai who are willing to become respondents in this study. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple logistic regression test.
The results showed the factors affecting the performance of nurses is a motivating factor, while the factors that do not affect the performance of nurses is a factor of capacity/skills, experience, attitudes, perceptions, and rewards.
Hospital policy decision makers should create policies deepening the knowledge of the nurses held trainings, workshops, and seminars and provide support nurses for continuing education related to improving the performance of nurses.
