Abstract
Pulmonary tuberculosis is a pneumonia, pneumonia caused by M. tuberculosis. Pulmonary tuberculosis accounts for 80% of all tuberculosis events, while the remaining 20% is extrapulmonary tuberculosis. The purpose of the study was to study knowledge, attitudes, health facilities, access to health facilities, family support and support of health workers towards support for friends with pulmonary tuberculosis. Analytical survey research methods with cross sectional research. The sample used was total sampling. The statistical test used is the chi-square test and multiple logistic regression. The results showed factors related to the meeting of patients with tuberculosis knowledge (p = 0,000), access to health facilities (p = 0.031), family support (p = 0.001), and support health workers (p = 0.011). Factors not related to conflicting attitudes (p =
0.91) and health facilities (p = 0.065). And the most dominant factor is family support factors (p = 0.016) with an Exp (B) value of 9,240. To increase the freedom of treatment for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, it is necessary to increase knowledge about the family, by intervening through education about pulmonary tuberculosis and supporting families of pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers.
