Abstract
Abortion is a reproductive health problem that needs attention and is a cause of suffering for women throughout the world. WHO reports that the percentage of abortion is quite high. About 15-40% of abortion occurrences are known when the mother has tested positive for pregnancy and 60-70% of abortion occur before gestational age reaches 12 weeks. To find out the indirect factors that influence Abortus Imminent in Muhammadiyah Hospital Medan in 2019.
This study was an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 50 pregnant women and all were as sample using a quantitative approach. This study uses secondary data analysis, the data used are univariate and bivariate analysis.
Based on chi-square test results is found the relationship with the incidence of abortion like educational with p-value=.012<.05, age of pregnant women with a p-value=.002<.05. parity of pregnant women with p-value=.006. and history of abortion and the incidence of imminent abortion with a p-value=.004.
It can be been seen that abortus imminent from education amounted 30 respondents (60%) in elementary/junior high school, and Diploma 3, Diploma 4, Bachelor and Postgraduate amounted 7 respondents(14%). Abortion is seen by age <20 years amounted to 26 (52%), the minority >35 years amounted 6 (12%). Abortion is seen from parity, primipara as much as 32 (64%), minority grandemultipara amounted 4 (8%). Abortion imminent seen from the history of abortion majority amounted 36 (72%), the minority did not exist amounted 14 (28%).
