Abstract

Hospitals have an important role to play in increasing the level of public health. Pharmaceutical services are an inseparable part of hospital services oriented to patient safety, providing quality drugs, including affordable clinical pharmacy services for all citizens. The needs and desires of patients in this case are patients that very important for the availability, safety and effectiveness of drug use. This study aimed to determine pharmacy services at PutriHijau Hospital Pharmacy Medan in accordance with pharmaceutical service standards in Republic of Indonesia Health Regulation number 72 of 2016.This research uses cross sectional descriptive study. Data were collected from 2 pharmacists and 16 pharmaceutical technical workers based on an assessment using a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting data and the data were processed using a Likert scale. The sampling method used was purposive sampling or based on the researcher's decision.The results of this study indicated that both pharmacists in carrying out pharmaceutical services on facilities and infrastructure, managing pharmaceutical preparations and medical supplies, administering, prescribing studies and delivering drugs were very well implemented in accordance with pharmaceutical service standards, while 16 pharmaceutical technical personnel in conducting pharmaceutical services for drug information services (PIO), prescription and administrative services have been done properly as they should be in accordance with Permenkes No. 72 of 2016.The conclusion shows that pharmacy services at PutriHijau Hospital Pharmacy in Medan have been done in accordance with Republic of Indonesia Health Regulation number 72 of 2016.
