Abstract
Breast cancer is one of the most severe malignancies and has a high mortality rate in women. According to World Health Organization (WHO) data in 2018, the global cancer burden is estimated to increase to 18.1 million new cases and account for 9.6 million cancer deaths. Objective: This study aimed to determine factors related to breast cancer in women of childbearing age couples at Vina Estetica General Hospital in 2019. The design used was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population was all women of childbearing age couples who experience breast cancer amount 32 respondents and all were sample by Accidental Sampling technique, which is a technique based on chance meeting with researchers at Vina Estetica General Hospital. Results of Chi-Square test obtained maternal body weight p = 0,000 <α .05, age of menarche p = .017 <α .05, duration of use of hormonal contraception p = .048 <α .05 and consuming fast food p = .022 <α .05. Conclusion Shows that there is a relationship between maternal body weight, age of menarche, duration of use of hormonal contraception and consuming fast food with breast cancer in women of childbearing age at Vina Estetica General Hospital in 2019.
