Abstract

Most of the water sources in Lam Bleut Village, Darul Kamal Aceh Sub District, are from well water used for domestic use and drinking water sources. Much of the residents' well water in physical terms looks turbid, yellow and the sanitary conditions of the village there are several sources of pollutants, namely septic tanks, drainage channels, and animal cages. One of the diseases caused by the consumption of water that is not good or water that contains high dissolved solids is kidney stones. It is known that there are several local people who suffer from kidney stone disease. This study aims to determine the levels of dissolved solids in the well water of Lam Bleut Village, Darul Kamal Aceh Subdistrict, Aceh Besar.
Determination of dissolved solid content used Gravimetry method and electrical conductivity. Teh sample were taekn by simple random sampling of wells taken from 3 different hamlets (villages) namely Lampoh jaban, Mon manjong and Cot sigaree.
The results showed the highest levels were found in well water C2 of 284mg/L, the lowest level in A2 well water was 216mg/L. The results of value gravimetric method obtained smaller than electrical conductivity method. There were differences where the levels of dissolved solids obtained are different.
The conclusion of this research is that the well water of Lam Bleut Village, Darul Kamal Aceh Subdistrict is large according to the requirements of the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation No.32 of 2017, namely the maximum allowable level of 1000 mg/L.
