Abstract
Complete basic immunization coverage in Indonesia in the last five years has always been above 85%, but it has still not reached the Ministry of Health Strategic Plan's specified targets. In 2017 complete basic immunization in Indonesia was 91.12%. This figure is slightly below the 2017 Strategic Plan target of 92%. This study aimed to determine what factors related to basic immunizations in infants at Jambo Keupok Village in 2019.
This research uses analytical survey design with cross sectional approach. The populations were all mothers who had babies aged 12-23 months in 2019 as many as 60 people. The sampling technique used total population. Methods of data analysis by means of univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test.
Based on the research results of 60 respondents showed there was no relationship of knowledge with complete basic immunization in infants with a p-value=.39 (p>.05), there was a work relationship with basic immunization with a p-value=.04 (p<.05), and there was a relationship between family support and complete basic immunization with p-value=.00 (p<.05).
The conclusion shows that there is no relationship of knowledge with basic immunization, there is a relationship between work and basic immunization, and there is a relationship between family support and basic immunization at Jambo Keupok Village in 2019. It is suggested for stakeholders, health professionals and religious leaders local must establish dialogue to provide true information about vaccination through the influence of religious leaders at the local level.
