Abstract

Premature rupture of membranes (KPD) or premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is defined as rupture of membranes before they pass. The prevalence of KPD results in 3-18% of all pregnancies. At present, 8-10% of pregnant women come with KPD and 30-40% of preterm pregnancies or only about 1.7% of all pregnancies. According to WHO (2013) the incidence rate of KPD is 50-60%. In Indonesia there is a KPD of 35%. The number of KPDs in the PONEK room of Aceh Tamiang Regional Hospital in 2017 was 131 cases from 1,372 deliveries (10.1%), in 2018 there was an increase of 140 cases from 1,568 (11.2%). The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between age and parity of maternity mothers with the incidence of KPD in the PONEK room of Aceh Tamiang District Hospital in 2018.
The study design was an analytical survey research with case control discussion in which the researcher wanted to know there was a relationship between age and parity of maternal mothers with the incidence of KPD, with a total sample of 116 people, 58 for the case group and 58 others for the control group. To prove the relationship, use Chi-square analysis with a confidence level of 95% and the statistically significant significance of p (0.05).
The results obtained by the pvalue for age are (0,000) with an OR value of 6.331 and for pvalue parity (0,000) with an OR value of 6.754.
The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the period and parity of maternity mothers with the incidence of KPD in the PONEK room of Aceh Tamiang District Hospital in 2018. Supporting health workers more intensively provides assistance to younger or older births, and echoing the KBB, so that the KPD incident can be finalized.
