Abstract

Efforts to prevent the eradication of infectious diseases from the government by holding an immunization program. Indicators of success of immunization programs is the achievement Universal Child Immunization (UCI) in the villages. UCI Villages is villages with complete basic immunization coverage babies before 1 year old evenly distributed throughout the villages. The working area Binjai Estate Health Center has UCI Village achievements which is still low in 2018 namely Bhakti Karya Village (81.2%), Binjai Estate Village (65.7%), Pujidadi Village (56.4%) and Tanah Merah Village (49.6%). The purpose of this study is to find out factors related to the achievement of UCI village
Research uses analytic survey method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is mothers who had babies aged 10-12 months were 167 people and the total sample of 63 people in Binjai Estate Health Center, test using proportional random sampling method. Data analysis uses chi-square test at a 90% confidence level.
Based on the research results, knowledge respondents less categories of 24 people (38,1%), enough 35 people (55,6%) and good 4 people (6,3%) with p value 0.023 <0.1. Respondents attitudes were negative in the category of 36 people (57.1%) and positive 27 people (42.9%) with p value of 0.013 <0.1. Family support from category respondents did not support 34 people (54.0%) and supported 29 people (46.0%) with p value of 0.028 <0.1. The role of cadre of inactive category was 34 people (54.0%) and active 29 people (46.0%) with p value of 0.001 <0.1.
From the results of the study concluded that there is a relationship knowledge, attitudes, family support and the role of cadres and the achievement of UCI village. Therefore recommended to health center to always provide training to cadres and provide immunization counseling to mothers who have babies.
