Abstract
Antenatal Care Visit (ANC) is a visit of pregnant women to a midwife or doctor as early as possible since they feel pregnant to get antenatal care/services. K4 ANC visit to Health Center of North Tambusai 1 Sub-district in 2018 is far from the target set at 43.54%. This study aims to determine the factors related to the utilization of ANC services in Working Area of Health Center of North Tambusai 1 Sub-District, Rokan Hulu District of Riau Province in 2019.
The design of this study used analytical survey with cross sectional method. The population in this study were all pregnant women with third trimester pregnancy as many as 65 people and all were sampled by total population sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square statistical test.
The results showed there was a relationship between knowledge factors (p-Value = 0,000), attitudes (p-Value = 0,000), family support (p-Value = 0,000) and needs (p-Value = 0,000) with the utilization of ANC services in the Health Center in 2019.
The conclusion shows that the factors related to the utilization of ANC services at the Health Center, namely knowledge, attitudes, family support and needs. It is suggested that Health Center conduct counseling in the workplace to improve MCH by providing information about the benefits of family planning, Toddler Family Development, Youth Family Development and Elderly Family Development.
