Abstract
Posyandu is a form of community-based health effort, which is managed from, by, for and with the community. In providing posyandu, facilities are provided to the public in obtaining basic health services so that the MMR and IMR decline. To build a good posyandu, cadre guidance is needed by health workers to increase the role of cadres in posyandu. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge and motivation with the activeness of cadres in posyandu activities in the Rasau Health Center in 2019.
The research design was an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all posyandu cadres in the Rasau Health Center in Torgamba District in 2019 totaling 50 and the sampling technique used a total population of 50 people. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The instruments used were checklist and questionnaire using univariate, bivariate analysis using Chi-square test with p <0.05.
The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship of knowledge with the activeness of cadres in posyandu activities with the results of statistical tests using chi-square. -square get p-value 0,004 <0,05.
The conclusion in this study there is a relationship of Knowledge, motivation with the Activist Cadre in Posyandu activities in Rasau Health Center, Torgamba District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency in 2019. It is recommended to Puskesmas to provide training in increasing cadre knowledge and motivation so that the implementation of Posyandu is better.
