Abstract
Contraception os one of the most basic and primary health servicces for women. Most women must make the choice of contraception to be used. Not only because of the limited number of contraceptives available, but also because certain contraceptives may not be accepted due to policies, individual health and the cost of obtaining contraception. The choice of contraception based on its effectiveness is categorized in several groups of contraceptive use such as IUDs, injections and pills. This the research used a retrospective descriptive study by accessing data from the medical records of the January-December 2018 period. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between cost-effectiveness and quality of life with the use of IUD contraception, injections and pills in Telukdalam Health Centre. This study ains to show that the cost-effective use of IUD contaception is Rp.107,000, injections contraception is Rp.168,500, and contraceptive pills Rp.123,000. IUD acceptors received Quality of life with a percentage of 58,4%, 45,5% pill acceptors and 38,1% injection acceptors. From this research, there is a relationship between CEA and QoL with IUD contraception, injections and pills contraceptions usage in Telukdalam Health Centre in South Nias District because contraceptive user acceptors have an effective quality of life and the costs incurred by contraceptive users are also more effective.
