Abstract

The implementation of UKS in schools is a health program whose implementation is carried out by health workers along with other trained staff. The implementation of the UKS at the school level in the Batunadua Health Center has not been fully implemented properly. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the implementation of UKS in the working area of Batunadua Health Center, in Padangsidimpuan City 2019.
This research uses analytical survey method, research design through cross sectional approach. The population is 40 people, a sample of 40 people, carried out using the total population technique. Data collection techniques by interview using questionnaire tools and the type of data used are primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data, data analysis techniques using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis using the Multiple Logistic Regression statistical test at α = 5%.
The results of this study indicate the relationship between facilities and infrastructure with the implementation of UKS in the working area of Batunadua Health Center in Padangsidimpuan City with the results of the chi square test showing that the value of p = .000 < .05, and the relationship of human resources to the implementation of UKS in the Batunadua City Health Center Padangsidimpuan the results of the chi square test p = .018 < .05. The results of the multiple logistic regression test showed that the independent variables of Infrastructure with p value .004 (p < .05) had an effect on the implementation of UKS in the School of Work area of Batunadua Health Center, Padangsidimpuan City. The variables that most influence the implementation of UKS in the working area of the Batunadua Health Center in the City of Padangsidimpuan are the facilities and infrastructure variables with the value of Exp B = 14.625.
From the results of this study it can be concluded that the more incomplete the provision of facilities and infrastructure in schools, the implementation of UKS is not implemented in schools. Therefore it is expected that the Education Office should improve cooperation in the field of improving services together with the Health Office to provide more complete facilities and infrastructure for the UKS.
