Abstract

Background; The quality health services are health services that can satisfy every user of health services in accordance with the level of satisfaction. Satisfaction will occur if the expectations of the patient can be met by the services provided by the Hospital so that the patient's satisfaction and expectations must be considered continuously. The results of the initial outpatient survey at Doloksanggul Regional General Hospital Installation were 6 patients who complained about service in day-to-day operations, regarding long waiting times, lack of information about drugs and limited medicines provided at Doloksanggul Regional General Hospital. Objective; The purpose of this study was to determine the level of outpatients’ satisfaction on pharmaceutical services at outpatient Pharmacy Installation of Doloksanggul Regional General Hospital. Methods; The design of this study uses descriptive survey research. The populations in this study were 3,300 patients, and the sample was 97 patients using the Slovin formula. The data collected through primary and secondary data and using univariant and bivariant analysis with the help of SPSS computer programs. Results; Chi square test results of each variable obtained p value tangible value 0.028, reliability 0.008, responsiveness 0.021, assurance 0.015, and empathy 0.006 so that Ho was rejected Ha accepted, because it was smaller than 0.1 then it can be stated that there was influence of pharmaceutical service quality on patients’ satisfaction at Doloksanggul Regional General Hospital Pharmacy in 2018. Conclusion; It can be concluded that the quality of pharmacy services is very influential on inpatients’ satisfaction because if pharmaceutical services are not good then patients are not satisfied with the services.
