Abstract

The heart is the most important organ in the circulatory system that pumps blood through blood vessels. Survey sample regression system (SRS) in 2014 in Indonesia showed coronary heart disease (CHD) to be the highest cause of death at all ages after stroke, which amounted to 12.9%. The Ministry of Health encourages the public to carry out regular health checks, eliminate cigarette smoke, be diligent in physical activity, a healthy and balanced diet, adequate disruption and manage stress (CERDIK) to control CHD risk factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the number and types of heart drugs most widely used at Ocean Pharmacy 1 and 2.
The research method used is non-experimental research, the type of research used is collecting survey data and analyzing data descriptively. Descriptive research is a form of research aimed at describing existing phenomena, both natural phenomena and man-made phenomena, that phenomenon can be in the form of forms, activities, characteristics, changes, relationships, similarities and differences between one phenomenon and another.
From the results of the study showed that the most widely used heart drug at Ocean Pharmacy 1 based on non-prescription was 2.5 mg concort medicine while based on the prescription was spironolactone drug 100 mg. The results of the research conducted at the Samudra 2 Pharmacy which are most widely used based on non-prescription are the platogrix drug, whereas based on the prescription is the drug pidovix.
Researchers hope that the Pharmacy continues to maintain supervision of the use of heart drugs so that they are well distributed to patients so that their use is on target.
