Abstract
Background; Treatment of the perineum is the fulfilment of the need to nourish the area between the thighs which is restricted to the vulva and anus in the mother between the time of the placenta birth to the return of the genetic organs such as before pregnancy. The treatment of perineal wounds that is done well can accelerate the healing of perineal wounds, while the treatment of perineal wounds that are done incorrectly can cause infection. Objectives;The purpose of the study is to find out the relationship between knowledge and attitude of mother Post Partum about perineal wound treatment with wound healing in Pera Maternity practice Simalingkar B in 2018. Method; This study used an analytical survey design with Cross-Sectional approach. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers who experienced perineal wound healing in the Mandiri Pera maternity Practice in 2018 as many as 32 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was by using accidental sampling. Data analysis techniques in the study using the Chi-Square test. Results; The results of the study using chi-square test obtained the value of cross-tabulation between knowledge with wound healing, .000 <.05 and wound healing attitude .008 <.05 means that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of postpartum mothers about the treatment of perineal wounds with wound healing. Conclusion; Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a Knowledge and Attitudes Relationship of Post Postum About Perineal Wound Care with Wound Healing in Mandiri Pera Simalingkar B Practice Midwife in 2018.
