Abstract
Strawberry (Fragaria Sp.) is one of the fruit commodities that is very popular with the world population, including in Indonesia. Strawberry originates in the northern hemisphere, but today it can be found in almost all of Europe, America, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and Asia. This research used experimental laboratory research methods. Soap made by adding strawberry juice with olive oil. Strawberry juice made into liquid bath soap and examined include homogeneity test, pH test, foam power test, irritation test, and 0%, 3%, 6%, 9% hedonic test. Based on research conducted homogeneity test results are known the more juice enhancer the more intense the color produced from white to red turbid, to light brown, and the smell of strawberry soap quickly disappear.
The test results of soap pH 8.7 9.0-10.3 and meet SNI 06-4085-1996, do not experience skin irritation, liquid bath soap formulation has a stable shape, color and odor does not change. The three formulations of homogeneous liquid bath soap. The liquid bath soap is 3% because the color is more attractive, and the results of the soap irritation test indicate that there are no signs of irritation on the skin that is most preferred by the panelists. It can be said that liquid bath soap formulation can be used as a liquid bath soap.
The conclusion from the research of strawberry juice (Fragaria SP.) can be formulated in the form of liquid bath soap. Suggestions from researchers to formulate strawberry juice (Fragaria Sp.) In other dosage forms.
