Abstract

A planned pregnancy will give you a sense of happiness. in pregnant women, especially in the physical condition of pregnant women, there are changes in the body of pregnant women, there is an increase in pregnancy hormones such as HCG, estrogen and progesterone. This inability can cause changes in body function, especially the gastrointestinal system, which ultimately results in the occurrence of nausea and vomiting called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. This study aims to analyze the relationship between husbands’ support to pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarumon first trimester pregnant women atRinaHartati ClinicPangkalanBrandan in 2018.
The type of research used in this research is cross-sectional design. The research samples were 32 first trimester pregnant women at RinaHartati ClinicPangkalanBrandan using total sampling technique. The data were analyzed by performing Chi-square analysis test.
The results of the study with statistical tests using the Chi-Square test that has been corrected the number expected value (E) <5 = 4.47, then the results of the test used was Fisher Excat Test with a value of p = 0.021thus the value of p <α 5%, 0.021 <0.05.
The conclusion of this researcher shows that there is a relationship between husbands’ support to pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarumon first trimester prernant women. It is suggested for maternal to better improve good communication with their husbands, so that during pregnancy they can get better support to improve maternal welfare during pregnancy so that reduce the morbidity experienced by the mother.
