Abstract

Patient satisfaction is one of the important indicator that must be considered in health services. Based on a preliminary survey conducted at Advent Hospital Medan on cardiac division, patients felt long waiting for inappropriate service hours, lack of clarity in to information provided by health workers, and lack of time to consult to a doctor. Based on these problems, researcher interest to get this title about the Effect of Health Service Quality on Outpatients Satisfaction of Cardiac Division in Advent Hospital Medan 2018.
Design of this study is cross sectional study approach. The population of this study was patients who treated at cardiac division. The sample of this study were taken by using accidental sampling amounted 80 respondets that was done by chane without planning.
The results of this study used multivariate analysis of logistic regression test level of significance p (Sig) <0.05. The variables that have an influence on patient satisfaction, is reliability, which value of p (Sig) 0.000 <0.05, tangible p (Sig) 0.001 <0.05, empirical where the value p (Sig) 0.007 <0.05 while variables that have no influence is assurance p (Sig) 0.843> 0.05 and responsiveness which the value of p (Sig) 0.064> 0.05. The variable that has the greatest influence on patient satisfaction is the reliability variable with a value of sig 0.000 and Exp (B) 15,979 which means that good reliability has 16 times the influence on patients satisfaction.
From the results of the study, it is expected to one who work at hospital will provide clear information related to managing files, non- sedentarydivision space and approprivate service times so facilitate patients and increase patient satisfaction.
