Abstract

Accordingto (SDKI) in 2017 revealed 2% ofteenage girls aged 15-24 years and 8% of male adolescents had sex before marriage. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence Teenagers’ Sexual Behavior in Vocational Schoolof Kesehatan Haji North Sumatra in 2019.
This research used mixed methods with a sequential explanatory approach. The populationwas 100 adolescents, and all oft hem were used as research samples, while the qualitative method was 7 informants, namely 3 adolescents who had risk sexual behaviour, 1 parent, 1 schoolprincipal, 1 BK teacher, and 1 health officer. Quantitative data analysis used with multiple logistic regression. Qualitative data analysis used by data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions.
Based on the chi-square test results obtained on the variable of knowledge (.001), information exposure (.001), the role of parents (.005), with a p-value< .05. Knowledge factor is the most influential factor in adolescent sexual behaviour. Qualitative research results obtained that the information exposure factors that most influence the informants and the occurrence of risky sexual behaviour in adolescents.
The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of knowledge, information exposure, the role of parents on adolescent sexual behaviour. It is recommended to vocational students to prevent sexual behaviour by sport, taste, and mental processing. Parents should be more watch over children at home, dormitory and school. Give special lessons at school about adolescent reproductive health to students.
