Abstract

Malaria is one of the health problem in almost all parts of the world, especially in tropical and sub-tropical countries, both as an endemic and epidemic disease. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that influence community behavior in malaria eradication in Sekerak Kanan Village. Sekerak District, Aceh Tamiang Regency in 2019.
This type of research used is an analytical survey with a cross sectional study design which aims to analyze the factors that influence people's behavior in malaria eradication with a quantitative approach model.
There was the influence of knowledge (p = 0.045), attitude (p = 0.024), economic ability (p = 0.015), the environment (p = 0.025), community health education (p = 0.005). The variable that had the most influence in the eradication of malaria in Sekerak Kanan Village, Sekerak District, Aceh Tamiang Regency in 2019, was the variable of economic capacity (p = 0.008).
The conclusions in this study shows that are knowledge, attitudes, economic capacity, living environment, support of community health workers, influencing malaria eradication in Sekerak Kanan Village, Sekerak District, Aceh Tamiang District in 2019. So it is suggested that the community can improve insight, knowledge, and skills in collecting , processing, analyzing and informing findings data on community behavior in eradication.malaria.
