Abstract
Family Planning Policy (KB) aims to control population growth through efforts to reduce birth rates. Many women experience difficulty in choosing the type of contraception. This is not only due to the limited methods available, but also by ignorance of the requirements and safety of these contraceptive methods. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence EFA women in the selection of the Long-Term Contraception Method (MKJP).
The research design used in this research standard is an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all 1,194 EFA women and samples taken by accidental sampling were 95 people. Data collection methods are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is binary logistic regression test.
The results showed that knowledge had a sig-p value of 0.033 <0.05, a sig-p attitude of 0.008 <0.05, a husband's support of a sig-p of 0.028 <0.05 and a soc-p of socio-culture of 0.007 <0.05, which means has an influence on the MKJP election. For the variable role of health workers has a sig-p value of 0.225> 0.05, which means the role of health workers has no influence on the election of the MKJP.
The conclusion in this study there is the influence of knowledge, attitudes, husband support and social culture to the election of the MKJP, while the role of the health worker has no influence on the election of the MKJP. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as information material for family planning services staff to be able to find out about ways to improve the knowledge and attitudes of women of EFA and provide complete contraception.
