Abstract

Background;Hospital quality programs in Indonesia have undergone many changes that benefit patients. Data for Basic Health Research in 2013 said access to health services obtained by the presence of government hospitals nationally was 69.9%, while private hospitals were 53.9%. Purpose: This study aims to determine inpatients satisfaction on the quality of pharmaceutical services at Bhayangkara Hospital in Banda Aceh. Method; The research design was analytical survey with cross sectional approach. The populations were all inpatients in May to June amount 120 patients and all were sampled by using total sampling technique. Data collection used primary and secondary data and analyzed univariately presented in the frequency distribution table and bivariate analysis in a cross table using the chi-square test. Results; The results showed that most of service quality provided by nurses in the category of very satisfied were 58 respondents (48.3%) and the majority of patient satisfaction in the satisfied category was 76 respondents (63.3%). There was a relationship between the quality of nurses' services and the satisfaction of inpatients at Bhayangkara Hospital in Banda Aceh, namely sip-p = 0,000 or <sig value α = .05. Conclusion; shows that there is a relationship between the quality of pharmaceutical services with inpatients satisfaction at Bhayangkara Hospital in Banda Aceh. It is expected for Bhayangkara Hospital in Banda Aceh that this research can be one of the considerations for evaluation and policy makers to improve the quality of services in inpatient installations, to realize the highest degree of public health.
