Abstract
Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (VIA) is a screening test for cervical cancer by visual inspection of acetic acid which is very simple, inexpensive, convenient, practical, and easy. The number of childbearing age women at Working Area of Kotapinang Health Center who were married and examined by the 2016-2018 VIA tests was 163 people out of 4.611 people. The design of this research is analytical survey with Cross Sectional approach. The location of this research was Kotapinang Health Center. The populations were all childbearing age women and the number of samples with Slovin formula was 98 people. Data collection techniques used primary data. Data analysis used chi-square at significance of statistical calculation p-value (0.05). The results of bivariate analysis showed the probability value of each variable; age with p-value=0,904, knowledge with p-value=0,000, access to health services with p-value=0,012, husband support with p-value=0,001, and support of health workers with p-value = 0,000. The conclusion shows that there is a relationship of knowledge, access to health services, support from husband and health workers, while age has no relationship with childbearing age women who undergo VIA examination. It is suggested that the role of health workers to be able to provide true, correct and age-appropriate information on women so that they are motivated to be able to do early detection of cervical cancer.
