Abstract
Based on the data, around 75% of teens have experienced leucorrhoea. The high rate of leucorrhoea is thought to be caused by low personal hygiene in women despite humid weather conditions that cause bacteria and fungi to grow easily in female areas. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of female adolescent behavior on personal hygiene with leucorrhoea. Method: The type of research is analytical research with a cross sectional approach (cross section). The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Peusangan of Bireuen District. The study populations were 74 people and all were sampled. The results: showed that female adolescent in SMA Negeri 2 Peusangan in 2018 were sufficiently knowledgeable (36.8%), were positive (56.6%), good actions (59.2%), and had leucorrhoea (57.9%). There was a relationship between knowledge and leucorrhoea in SMA Negeri 2 Peusangan 2 of Bireuen District in 2018, p = 0.001 <0.05. The conclusion: of this study shows that the behavior of female adolescenton personal hygiene is related to leucorrhoea.
