Abstract

One nutritional problem on maternal is Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK). Chronic energy deficiency is a condition of maternalwho suffer from food shortages that last long (chronic) with a variety of health problems arising in maternal. Maternal should meet nutritional intake to avoid chronic energy shortages (KEK) during pregnancy. The purpose of this study is factors related to Chronic Energy Deficiency in maternalin Moroo Non-Inpatient Health Centre in 2019.
This type of research is a descriptive analysis design with a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted at UPTD. Moro'o out-patient Health Centre in West Nias Regency, the study was conducted in March-August 2019. The population in this study were 39 maternal who lacked of chronic energy with total population techniques. Data collection using primary data using a questionnaire and processed into the univariate analysis, bivariate with chi-square statistical tests and multivariate analysis with multiple regression tests.
Based on the results of logistic regression tests the age of Exp (B) .149, knowledge of Exp (B) 4.471, the income of Exp (B) .061 consumption patterns and health workers with an Exp (B) value of 47.860.
The conclusion in this study there is a relationship of age, knowledge, consumption patterns, family economics and health workers, while parity has no relationship with Chronic Energy Deficiency in maternal at Moroo outpatient Health Centres in 2019. It is recommended that maternal continue to look for information about maternal nutrition during pregnancy and consuming food and drinks that are of sufficient nutritional value and calories in the nutritional needs of the maternal during pregnancy in order to avoid chronic energy deficinecy during pregnancy.
