Abstract
Food is all substances that are needed by the body excluding water, drugs, and other substances used for treatment. Objectives; This study aims to find out the relationship between education factors, attitudes and knowledge with the quality of sanitation facilities for food processing in Tinggi Raja Village Tinggi Raja District The working area of the Raja High Health Center in Asahan Regency 2019. Materials and Methods; This type of research is an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population and sample in this study were the owners of sweet potato crackers food sellers in Tinggi Raja Village, Tinggi Raja District, the working area of Tinggi Raja Health Center, Asahan Regency, as many as 14 employees. Data obtained with primary data and secondary data were analyzed by Chi Square statistical test with p-value (0.05). Results; The results showed that there was a relationship between education and sanitation of food processing facilities with p value 0.020 <0.05, there was a relationship between attitude and sanitation of food processing facilities with p value 0.001 <0.05 and there was a relationship between knowledge with sanitation of food processing facilities with p-value. 0.005 <0.05. Conclusion; The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between education, attitude and knowledge with the quality of sanitation facilities for food processing in Tinggi Raja Village Tinggi Raja District The work area of the Raja High Health Center is Asahan Regency. It is expected that community knowledge will increase with the collaboration between the community and health workers about clean living with sanitation processing food places.
