Abstract

Background: Perineal rupture is natural tissue damage to the perineum. The incidence of perineal rupture in maternal in the world in 2015 there were 2.7 million, and predicted will reach 6.3 million in 2050. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge and perception of pregnant women who experience vaginal birth about pushing techniques with perineal rupture at Dina Clinic Karya Medan in 2019. Methods: This type of research used analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population was all pregnant women who have given birth normally. The sample method used is Total Sampling with 32 respondents. Data Collection Techniques use Primary Data, Secondary Data, and Tertiary Data. Analyzed of the data used is Univariate and Bivariate. Result: Knowledge research showed of the majority of knowledge respondents less with perineum rupture Degrees II is 11 respondents (34.4%), knowledge respondents quite with perineum rupture Degrees II is 7 respondents (21.9%), and respondents good knowledge the minority with rupture perineum Degrees I is 5 respondents (15.6%), from chi-square test, the calculation stated p-value = 0.016 then p<.005. From the result Perception research showed that false of the majority of respondents perceptions with perineal rupture in Degrees II is 16 respondents (50%), while the minority of perception good respondents with perineum rupture Degrees I is 9 respondents (28.1%), from chi-square test results of calculation p-value = 0.007 then p<.005. Conclusion: of this study shows that there is a relationship between knowledge and Perception of pregnant women who experience vaginal birth about pushing techniques with perineal rupture at Dina Clinic Karya Medan in 2019.

Latar Belakang: Ruptur Perineum adalah rusaknya jaringan pada perineum. Kejadian ruptur perineum pada ibu bersalin di dunia tahun 2015 terdapat 2,7 juta, angka ini diperkirakan akan mencapai 6,3 juta pada tahun 2050. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengetahuan dan Persepsi Ibu Hamil Yang Pernah Melahirkan Normal Tentang Teknik Mengedan Dengan Ruptur Perineum di Klinik Dina Karya Medan 2019. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya adalah seluruh ibu hamil yang pernah melahirkan normal. Metode sampel yang digunakan Total sampling. Jumlah sampel 32 responden. Teknik Pengumpulan Data menggunakan Data Primer, Data Sekunder, dan Data Tertier. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah Analisa Univariat dan Analisa Bivariat. Hasil: Penelitian Pengetahuan menunjukkan mayoritas responden pengetahuan kurang dengan ruptur perineum Derajat II sebanyak 11 responden (34,4%), responden pengetahuan cukup dengan ruptur perineum Derajat II sebanyak 7 responden (21,9%), dan minoritas responden pengetahuan baik dengan ruptur perineum Derajat I sebanyak 5 responden (15.6%), dilihat dari hasil uji chi-square, diperoleh hasil perhitungan p-value = 0.016 maka p<0,05. Dari hasil penelitian Persepsi menunjukkan mayoritas responden berpersepsi salah dengan ruptur perineum Derajat II sebanyak 16 responden (50%), sedangkan minoritas responden berpersepsi benar dengan ruptur perineum Derajat I sebanyak 9 responden (28,1%), dilihat dari hasil uji chi-square diperoleh hasil perhitungan p-value = 0.007 maka p<0,05. Kesimpulan: dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada Hubungan Pengetahuan Dan Persepsi Ibu Hamil Yang Pernah Melahirkan Normal Tentang Teknik Mengedan Dengan Ruptur Perineum di Klinik Dina Karya Medan 2019.
