Abstract
Anemia is the biggest public health problem in the world, especially for groups of women of reproductive age. To suppress the lowest rate of anemia, pregnant women should get 90 Fe dosage tablets. Therefore, adherence to pregnant women taking iron tablets is very important in ensuring an increase in hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Objectives; The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of adherence to consumption of Fe tablets with anemia in third trimester pregnant women.Method; Type of quantitative research, analytic survey research design with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study used a total population of 32 people. The collection of primary data was collected by questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test.Results; The results showed that at most 19 respondents were disobedient in consuming Fe tablets (59.4%) and had mild anemia as many as 14 people (43.7%). Analysis of statistical tests using the Chi-square test obtained the value of P (0,000) <α (0.05).Conclusion; The conclusion is that there is a relationship between adherence to consumption of Fe tablets and anemia in third trimester pregnant women. It is expected that the leaders of the Puskesmas can improve the competence of health workers, especially competencies regarding information communication and education / counseling (IEC / K).
