Abstract

Yoga gymnastics is a physical sport that relies on breathing and concentration of mind. Breathing techniques practiced in yoga cause a sense of relaxation. Yoga rhythms can also maintain the mental condition of pregnant women remain comfortable and stable and overcome various complaints such as irritability, irritability and emotions, help restore and reduce physical complaints of pregnant women such as feelings who are uncomfortable, achy, tense throughout the body due to lack of rest, nausea and shortness of breath. With the practice of breathing and perseverance trying to practice and the willingness to relax, achieving balance in the body, mind and soul so that it will affect the quantity of sleep for the mother to be better and can also help the labor process becomes easier and more comfortable.
The research design used was Quasy Experiment using the Nonquivalent Pretest Possteest Control Group Desingn approach. The population in this study were 20 respondents in which 10 respondents were the control group and 10 respondents as the treatment group. While the sample is taken from the whole population.
The results showed that the statistical test results using the Wilcoxon test, obtained calculation results ρ value = 0.008 <α = 0.05, means there is a significant effect of Yoga Gymnastics Effect on Sleep Quantity of Trimester III Pregnant Women.
Conclusion there is a significant Yoga Gym Effect With Sleep Quantities in Trimester III Pregnant Women at Siti Kholijah Hsb Medan Marelan Clinic in 2019. It is hoped that local health authorities will carry out a program on yoga exercises in a holistic and sustainable manner at the Siti Kholijah Hsb Medan Marelan Clinic.
