Abstract
Retensio placenta is when the placenta is not born half an hour after birth, according to Word Health Organisition, maternal death amounted to 25% caused by post-childbirth hemorrhage 16-17% caused by the retensio placenta. Objective The purpose of this study is to find out the factors affecting the occurrence of placental Retensio in maternity mothers in RSU Sundari Medan year 2019. Methods: Analytical Survey Research design with the Cros-control approach. The population in this study is 15 that has a retensio placenta 15 that does not undergo retensio placenta. Data retrieval using secondary data. Analysis of data using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis with chi-square test. Results: This research test with Chi-square, data obtained with secondary data from the statistical test results showed there is a relationship age with retensio placenta ρ-value 0,028 < 0.05 no parity relationship with Retensio placenta ρ-value 0,023 < 0.05 No Connection distance of pregnancy with retensio placenta p-value 0,067 < 0.05 and there is a history relationship of previous childbirth with Retensio placenta p-value0,027 < 0.05 in RSU sunfrom Medab year 2019. Based on the logistical regression test the pregnancy distance variable has a close connection to the placental retensio with a value of sig 0.067 value Exp (B) OR the largest 7.563 which means that the pregnancy distance is influential 8.439 times can cause Retensio placenta. Conclusion: This research is the relationship of age, parity, distance of pregnancy, history of previous delivery with Retensio placenta in the RSU Sundari Medan year 2019
