Abstract
Gagatan tiger leaf (VitisgracilisBL) is a traditional medicinal plant that has efficacy as an energy booster, stomachache medicine, diarrhea medicine. Gagaten tiger leaves contain chemicals such as Alkaloids, Flavonoids, Tannins, and Glycosides. The aim of this research is to discover the benefits of the gagaten tiger leaf marinade as a stamina enhancer in male mice based on the immersion time.
This type of research is an experimental post test only. The study used a randomized block design (randomized block design) using male mice. The research was conducted at the Pharmacology Laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Helvetia Health Institute in August to September in 2019.
The results of phytochemical screning which contain the leaves of the tiger trap contain Alkaloids, Flavonoids, Saponins, Tanind and Glycosides. The increase in swimming time based on increasing concentration also shows the difference and length of swimming time between each group, this is evidenced by the analysis of the one-way ANOVA test where the p value is 0,000 <0.05.
The administration of gagaten leaf steeping to male mice in endurance swimming, results in an increase in the amount of powder or a higher percentage of steeping, thus increasing the swimming time of mice longer. Soaking gagaten Tiger leaves efficacious increase stamina in mice.
