Abstract

Stress is a perception of a situation or condition in our own environment. In other words, something that looks like a threat to you might not be worth the slightest thought by one of your colleagues. Stress actually comes from feelings of fear or anger. The purpose is to determine the relationship of work tenure, workload with work stress on workers at PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda Aceh in 2019.
The research design used analytical surveys that try to explore how and why the phenomenon occurs. The populations in this study were 711 workers, and samples taken using the Slovin formula were 88 workers. The data collection methods were primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used was univariate and bivariate analysis.
Statistical test results using the chi square test with a confidence level of 95% with α = 0'05 obtained working period with Work Stress on Workers p = .033 <.05, and workload with Work Stress on Workers p = .024 <.05 . Where the results obtained were there a relationship of tenure, workload with Work Stress on Workers at PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda Aceh in 2019.
The conclusion in this study shows that there is a relationship between work period, workload and work stress on workers at Pt. Pupuk Iskandar Muda Aceh in 2019. It is suggested that this research can be used as an input for workers, especially employees at PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda Aceh so that the stress experienced by workers can be well controlled.
