Abstract
The design of this study uses an Adolescent sexual behavior is an action which is done by adolescents relating to sexual urges that come both from inside and outside of themselves. Adolescent sexual behavior in Indonesia is increasingly alarming from the 2017 IDHS revealing about 2% of female adolescents aged 15-24 years and 8% of male adolescents of the same age range, have had sexual relations before marriage. Adolescent development is not only influenced by one factor, but many factors in their lives. In growth and development are also influenced by family, peers, school friends. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with adolescent sexual behavior of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tapaktuan, South Aceh Regency in 2019.
This study used analytical survey (explanatory research) with a cross sectional approach. The populations in this study were all students of class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Tapaktuan as many as 56 people. The samples were taken by total sampling technique.
The chi-square test results for knowledge obtained ρ value .033 <.05. For the role of parents obtained ρ value .000> .05, for the role of peers ρ value .014> .05, for Attitude ρ value .001 <.05. This proved that there was a relationship of knowledge, attitudes, and the role of parents and the role of peers with class XI adolescents’ sex behavior at SMA Negeri 2 Tapaktuan, South Aceh Regency in 2019.
The conclusion of this study shows that there is a relationship of knowledge, attitudes, the role of parents and the role of peers with adolescent sex behavior of class XI at SMA Negeri 2 Tapaktuan, South Aceh Regency in 2019. It is suggested that this research can give more information about factors associated with adolescent sexual behavior.
