Abstract
MCH report of Simeulue District Health Office in 2017 data on pregnant women with a risk of 4 (four) too 83 people, too young 21.7%, too old 36.1%, too close to pregnancy distance 20.5%, too many children 13.3% , pregnant women with two criteria 4 Too 4.8% too many children and too close to a pregnancy distance of 3.6%. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between Islamic perspective and health based on knowledge, attitudes, motivations, socio-economic status, family support and health staff support for potential complications in pregnancy in the Simeulue District Health Office of Aceh Province in 2018.
This study uses a mixed method with explanatory design. In quantitative surveillance, the approach is case-control, qualitative with a case study approach. The population was sampled by all pregnant women with a risk of 4 over as many as 63 respondents (case), pregnant women without risk of 4 over as 63 respondents (control). In-depth Interview 10 informants. Quantitative uses univariate and bivariate analysis, qualitative with data reduction, data display, and verification.
The results of the research knowledge ¬p-value = 0,000, OR 5,043, attitude -p-value = 0,000, OR 4,706, motivation ¬p-value = 0,000, OR 23,077, socio-economic status ¬p-value = 0,007, OR 3,088, family support ¬p-value = 0.011, OR 2.793, health care support ¬p-value = 0.002, OR 3.782. The qualitative occurrence of potential complications in pregnancy due to knowledge, spirituality and gender harmony.
It can be concluded that there is a relationship between Islamic and health perspectives on risk 4 (four) Over based on knowledge, attitudes, motivations, socio-economic status, family support, and health workers support for potential complications in pregnancy, integration between religion and health. It is suggested for the DHO to cooperate with the Ministry of Religion, Dinas PP and KB, Public Health Office and the Aceh Adat Assembly to prevent potential complications in pregnancy.
